Theory of Nanostructures
The Theory of Nanostructured Materials Facility is one of the six facilities of The Molecular Foundry at LBNL -- a DOE user facility enabling scientists from a wide range of fields to engage in multidisciplinary nanoscience. Within the Foundry, staff scientists in the Theory Facility collaborate with selected users on specific proposals, perform internal research related to the development and application of theoretical and computational techniques for understanding and predicting new behavior at the nanoscale, and provide theoretical support to complement Foundry and user experiments. Selected interest areas include nanoelectronics, nanomechanics, energy-related science, soft matter, and novel nanomaterials.Announcements
